Privacy and storage

What stays in your browser

Candidate names, locations, lease terms, financial assumptions, visits, confirmation contacts, notes and checklists stay in this browser’s localStorage. There is no account, server-side candidate storage or automatic cross-device sync.

What is sent for search and analysis

Search terms and analysis coordinates, business type and radius reach the service server. When configured, address searches reach VWorld; map requests reach your chosen map provider. Private lease terms, financial plans and research are not sent to analysis or usage APIs.

Page and feature usage statistics

Our own server counts allowlisted page paths and feature names by day. Reports cover the last 90 days; older totals are removed when statistics are recorded or read. URL queries/fragments, inputs and private notes are excluded. We create no analytics cookies or visitor identifiers and use no third-party analytics. IP addresses and browser details are not stored in statistics files. IP addresses are briefly held in server memory for rate limiting; buckets reset on subsequent requests at roughly one-minute intervals.

Do Not Track and Global Privacy Control are honoured. Opt out below; only your opt-out preference is stored in the browser. These are views/actions, not unique visitors or business success.

Sharing, backup and deletion

Public comparison links contain only locations, business type and radius. JSON backups and printed summaries contain private plans and notes; keep them safe. Transfer backups yourself to restore on another device. Delete candidates or clear site data to remove local records. Daily usage totals have no personal identifier and cannot be separated by individual.

Location and advertising

We do not automatically collect device location. Only while you turn on "My position" on the map does the browser read your position and heading to draw them; they are not sent to or stored on the server. If you tap the position dot to select it for analysis, only those coordinates are sent, like any other selected point. There are no advertising trackers, advertising cookies or photo uploads.
